Robert R. McGill

FERS Disability Retirement Attorney

About Attorney Robert R. McGill

About Us

I am an Attorney who represents Federal and Postal workers from all across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Europe, Japan, the Philippines, etc.   As this is a “Federal” issue, and not a “state” issue, my license to practice law extends everywhere and anywhere.   I have been practicing Federal Employee Disability Retirement Law for over 25+ years. FERS Disability Retirement is a “paper presentation” to the U.S. Officer of Personnel Management.  If the application is denied twice — both at the Initial Stage of the process as well as at the Second, Reconsideration Stage — then an appeal can be filed with the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board.

Mr. McGill gets the job done for a fair price, trust me not easy to find a gem like him. Don’t consider anyone else. It’s a lengthy process so be prepared but Mr. McGill got the disability first time around. Thank you so very much.

I am a Special Agent late in my career and became disabled with arthritis. I called Mr McGill and immediately knew he was the right person for me. He put up with my many phone calls, talked me through a Fitness For Duty Evaluation and was extremely responsive. He sets the bar for this type of proceeding.

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM)

The Office of Personnel Management – known by most by its acronym, “OPM” – is the Federal Agency which determines all Federal Disability Retirement applications, whether under FERS, CSRS or CSRS-Offset. All Postal and non-Postal Federal workers must ultimately submit their application for Federal Disability Retirement benefits under the purview, evaluation, and ultimate approval or denial from the Office of Personnel Management.

Best FERS Lawyer

Mr. McGill takes pride in passionately representing his clients. Although he represents Federal and Postal employees nationwide, he takes the ethical approach of a small-town lawyer who knows everybody and tries to help everybody in his community. After an injury or illness, far too many Federal employees are forced to endure a hostile work environment, believing that there are no other available options. Federal Disability Retirement is an option that should always be considered — but out of frustration or lack of knowledge, still others simply resign and walk away thinking that no alternatives are available. Don’t do it unless you talk with him first.
